Welcome to Moms and Kids Creating Memories! I am so glad you stopped by my blog and I hope you will find some things that you can use in your family to make some great memories
My name is Natalie and I am the mother of three amazing kids. My oldest and only girl, A is 5 years old and is definitely an oldest child, but also my biggest helper. My other two are both boys and are a little over 11 months apart, S is 2.5 and hilarious and so sweet and my youngest, M, is 1.5 and very sweet but can also be a stinker. They all love to help and think that daddy is a pretty special guy, as I do as well. I have been married to my hardworking husband for 10 years now.
Now don’t get me wrong, we have a difficult days days too. We have days where the kids won’t stop fighting, or have been in time out over and over again because they won’t obey. We also have days where mom is tired and short on patience and it turns into a bad day. Check out this free printable I have made that gives 16 Ways to Make a Bad Day Better With Your Kids.
This year we have had some changes as I started homeschooling my daughter in Kindergarten and am learning as I go. I will be sharing some of my experiences with that on the blog. I also work part time at my church’s Mother’s Day Out Program two days a week. Life is busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have always been a crafty person, I could roam around Hobby Lobby for hours and think of a million different things that I want to make or do with my kids. When I teach preschoolers, either at work or at my homeschool co-op, my favorite thing to plan and do with them is crafts.
So many times people have told me that they love what I make with the kids or that they would never be able to come up with something like what I do. So, I had an idea to write this blog and share with other moms’ ideas for crafts and activities that they could do with their own kids. I plan on researching and testing these projects with my own kids and giving you some great kid tested projects that you too can do with your own kids without the hassle of trying to figure something out. I am going to post about things to do over school breaks, holidays, birthdays and just fun any time activities.
I hope that you will stick around and explore my site and make some memories with your kids!
